CSI at the ALL4PACK 2022 trade show

Our carbon footprint assessment conducted with the specialist O2M Conseil in early 2022 is 3,040 t CO2 equivalent for scopes 1, 2, 3, with a tolerance of 5%. This work has shown that CSI's total emissions would be double if, instead of using 81% recycled content in our total production as was the case in 2021, we only used virgin material!

Since a year and our selection in the Bpifrance - ADEME / Mines ParisTech 2021-2023 national Decarbonization accelerator among 15 SMEs and ETIs from all sectors, we have been deploying the ACT method (Assessing low Carbon Transition), promoted by ADEME. Among the achievements and projects outlined:

• Investment in a dedicated surface cleaning line for reused industrial process trays (cosmetics, automotive...), completed in late 2022 and complementing our custom reusable tray creations.
• Supporting some of our major clients in organizing the closed-loop recycling of their end-of-life packaging, with our proven partners.
• Own investment in a ground-mounted solar power plant covering 1,600 m2 to cover one-third of our energy needs – a project already finely calibrated and expected to come to fruition in 2023/2024 – and to raise the total renewable percentage in our consumption to about two-thirds.
